The PayComm Advisory Board had begun its work prior to the foundation of the PayComm Association. It was instrumental in designing and organising the content of the PayComm database.
The Advisory Board, which acts as an independent body, is composed of experts from the payment industry with many years of professional experience in payment systems.
The Advisory Board elects from its midst one or more spokesman as a connector between the Advisory Board and both the Board and the Member Assembly of the Association.
Since July 2022, Dieter Hanft and Jens-Gerd Schmidt have jointly performed the spokesman role as successors to Dr. Laurenz Kohlleppel.
Each member of the Advisory Board has qualified knowledge in the field of cashless payment systems.
Each member is responsible for specific topics and has taken over a godfather role for those topics.
In the daily work with the PayComm editorial team, this means that content that is subject to quality assurance is only uploaded to the knowledge platform when it has been "approved" by the godfather responsible for that specific topic.
